The EX49NX Conical No-Grip™ (CNG™) domes are designed to be virtually impossible to grip or hang from. In high-risk areas, such as hospitals or prisons, the Integrated Day-Night cameras help prevent at-risk persons from self-inflicted harm. The CNG™ is totally vandal-resistant and engineered for reliability and 24/7 night vision performance to 40ft. The EX49NX domes use performance cameras with high infrared spectral response, including Extreme’s LXR type CCDs for excellent IR sensitivity, low smear, low streak and excellent anti-blooming. Photocell-control of the infrared ensures enough light is present to deliver an outstanding picture on a 24/7 basis.
