This camera has 2 ccd sensors (1 b/w and 1 color) for the best possible night viewing. When the lighting drops below 2 LUX, the camera switches from the color sensor to the b/w sensor that provides extra clarity in low light situations. The 6mm lens is perfect for surveillance applications where the coverage area is somewhat narrow or a closer view of a large object is desired.
