This camera features a 1/3" Sony Super HAD CCD, 540 TV Lines, 12mm lens and can see 150 feet in darkenss. During the day, the CBI8948 only needs a miniumum object illuminace of .001 LUX to produce a clear picture. At night time or during low light situations, the CBI8948 uses 48 IR LEDs and only requires a 0 LUX.
