Video Switchers allow you to use multiple cameras on one monitor. The difference between a switcher and a quad is the switcher shows one camera at a time on a screen switching cameras every second or so.

Enables 1 or 2 monitors to connect and view up to 4/6/8/12/16 cameras
Continuous camera identification is made on the switcher's panel with display indicator
Choice of bypass, automatic or manual switcher modes
Sequence may be interrupted on one monitor to home in on a camera while sequence continues on another monitor
Each camera's dwell time can be between 1 and 35 seconds
Cameras can be sequence manually or automatically
Can be mounted in a standard 19 inch rack
